We are representatives of WELFIT for Colombia, Split Tees or T-Shape Fittings; are the specialized “tting” for the Hot Tap & Line Stop, used to make, perforate and / or plug the pipe, are designed and manufactured to ensure the integrity of the piping system in any facility.
HOT TAP & LINE STOP FITTINGS
Split Tees or T-Shape Fittings; are the appropriate elements for Hot Tap & Line Stop, which are used to perform the direct access to the interior of the pipeline, they are designed and manufactured to ensure the integrity of the piping system in any facility.
We supply fittings ranging from 2″ to 72″, ANSI 150 to 2500 (RF-FTJ), meeting the requirements of ASME B31.3, B31.4 and B.31.8, with standard design factors of 0.72 or others, standard tee material is A234 Grade WPB or WPC with A105 Flange. Other configurations are available to meet customer requirements and existing line materials.
According to the fabrication method; these can be: extruded, welded and/or mechanical; and are ordered according to customer preference.
Completion options vary depending on the purpose of the Hot Tap and if the line is marketable, the types of completion plugs are
- Standard Plug (Standard Plug)
- Basket (Flow Thru Plug)
- Scarfed Nipple Plug
The manufacturing materials are 100% certified and tested to guarantee the integrity of the fittings.
For Line Stop service, other specialized fittings are required:
- Pressure Equalizing Fittings (Thread-O-Ring)
- Sealing elements (Sealing Element)
